Refuge de Rive... 'The shelter on the river bank'
For groups and individuals... Purpose built 12 bunk bed accommodation in a stunning riverside setting with wonderful views. Accommodation consists of three bedrooms each with 4 beds. Two showers, three toilets and washroom along with washer/drier.
The heart of Refuge de Rive is the sociable open plan kitchen, lounge and dining room complete with wood burning stove. The open plan area opens out onto two terraces one of which is covered for outdoor dining and sitting and the other overlooks the river and the Le Sedour mountain.
The Refuge is available on a bed and breakfast basis with an optional evening meal. L'Appartement de la Riviere (sleeps up to 4) can be rented along with the Refuge de Rive... Therefore providing accommodation for up to 16 people.
The Refuge de Rive is located just outside the Ariege town of Tarascon. It is ideally situated to access rock climbing, cycling, walking and skiing. Groups or clubs are particularly welcome.
Airport transfer can be arranged from Toulouse and Carcassone airports.
Equipment hire from climbing ropes to carbon fibre road bikes available. Wrap round provision of massage, yoga, transport and support, qualified and experience instructors, maps and guidebooks arranged to meet your needs or those of your group.
